HOME INFORMATION CALENDAR PROGRAMS AND DRAWS CONTACTS NEWSLETTERSNews from our MembersWelcome to our new section - here our Roving Reporter will give us a recap on recent events, from a riders point of view.Hello to Everyone, This is Roving Reporter Caity here, and as many of you are aware Mount Gravatt Horse and Pony Club held their first members ribbon day for 2011 last weekend (on the 14th of May). The Gymkhana was a great success with many enjoying the day! Some of the games had rules that were harder to remember than others (or I thought so at least!!), but nearly every member received a ribbon for each event. On the day there was one round of showjumping with Rob, then there was nine games to compete in, which were: Scuddaho, Flagging, Barrels, Drum and peg, Keyhole, Western bending, Sporting 8, Bounce pony and Benbaraft races. Congratulations to all who received first in their class. The day was a positive start for our ribbon days to come, one of the reasons the day went so well was because of the fabulous organisers and volunteers. So a big thanks to Linda and Kerry Udell, Kym Luis, Donna-lee Hardcastle, Ross and Debbie Mountford, Kathy Wade, Rob and Jan Harrison, Melinda Green, Deb Eggersdorf, Andrew Smith, Sue Jonstone, Jenny Pugh, ALL the parents, and Everyone. Also Congratulations to those who competed at Burpengary, it was reported to me that you all did MGHPC proud. Good luck to those competing at Southport CT, JE, and Dressage this weekend, and to those competing at Runcorn CT and Dressage next weekend. All the reporters at the studio hope everyone does well and does Mount Gravatt proud. This is roving reporter Caity signing off.
